Welding/Fume Extractor Self Supporting fume arms W-600-Series All Diagrams Are Not To Scale  Engwald Self-supporting fume arms are manufactured to capture fumes at their point of orgin. Arms are available in four different lengths and may be mounted on walls or ceilings. Each arm can be equipped with its own fan or multiple arms can be ducted to a central fan. A minimum of 725 cfm is recommended for each arm. Options such as extension brackets and swing booms are available upon request.  1 - Handle for positioning the hood 2 - Lever for regulation the air flow damper 3 - Optional light package and protective grille 4 - Optional switches for light. Fan and damper (light and damper require control box containing 24V transformers Components - Our Fume Extractor Arms have the following main components: A - 360° swivel elbow. B - Support flange. C - Internal support. D - Pre-set joints with wear discs that can be readjusted if required. E - Wire reinforced PVC hose, 6.3" diam. maximum operating temperature is 160°F. F - Damper with positive seal. G - Oval polycarbonate hood, 10" x 12" Optional light package available. H - Counter flange for ventilation duct, 5.9"-6.25" dia. Not required with fan.
